CBSE, The Central Board of Secondary Education has extended the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) 2020 registration date. Interested & eligible aspirants can apply for CBSE CTET 2020 July exam on the official website,i.e. ctet.nic.in. Now, CBSE CTET 2020 applicants can fill up the application form till March 2. Previously, the last date to apply for CTET 2020 July exam was February 24.
According to the reports, the applicants can pay the July exam fees till March 5, 2020 (3:30 pm). This year, CBSE will conduct the 14th edition of CTET on July 5, 2020 (Sunday). The CBSE CTET 2020 test will be conducted in Twenty languages in 112 cities all over the nation.
How to apply online for CBSE CTET 2020?
To apply online for CTET 2020 July exam, all the aspirants need to log on to the official website
of CBSE CTET. On the homepage of CTET, open the link which says, "Apply Online" and open the same. Fill in the CTET online application form and note down registration number/application number. After filling the application form, upload scanned images of the latest photograph and signature in the directed format.
In the next step, the candidate needs to pay CBSE CTET 2020 exam fee by e-challan or debit/credit card. Then, take a print of confirmation page for record and further reference. The confirmation page is not needed to be sent to CTET unit.

Eligibility criteria: CBSE CTET 2020
Qualifications for becoming Teacher for Classes I-V: Primary Stage
Senior Secondary (or it’s equivalent) with minimum 50 % marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known)
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with minimum 45 % marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education, as per the NCTE, Regulations, 2002.
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with minimum 50 percent marks and qualified or appearing in final year of 4- year BEIEd.
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least fifty percent marks and cleared or appearing in the final year of 2- year Diploma in Education.
"Graduation with at least 50 percent marks and BEd"
- “ Who has gained the qualification or Bachelor of Education from any NCTE recognized institution shall be considered for appointment as a teacher in classes I to V provided the person so appointed as a teacher shall mandatorily undergo a six month Bridge Course in Elementary Education recognized by the NCTE, within 2 years of such appointment as primary teacher ".
