Haryana Government to Re-Open Schools in July: Check Details

After two months of country-wide lockdown due to the ongoing coronavirus spread, people can anticipate some relaxation from next month. The Haryana Education Minister Kanwar Pal Gujjar has declared that the state government is preparing plans to reopen the schools from July.
The schools will reopen in phases only, furthermore, the state government will take responses from parents, teachers, and experts on whether to conduct classes in two shifts to keep social distancing.
Schools to Re-Open in Different Phases
The schools will be opened in different phases. According to the reports, the teaching work will start for class 10 to 12 in the 1st phase, followed by classes 6 to 9, and in the last phase classes, 1 - 5 will start.
“In the first phase, Classes 10-12 would be started in July, followed by Classes 6-9, and in the last phase Classes 1-5 would begin,” he stated. The colleges and university classes will commence in August, the minister reported PTI.
The state government will organize demo classes in few schools to check how social distancing in classrooms works, the minister continued. In doing so, the state government will have a clue before making the final decision.
For now, the Directorate School Education has asked District Education Officers to form committees to consider the issue of reopening schools with parents, teachers, & experts, to seek their feedback and send the report by June 7, 2020.
