Karnataka TET 2020 Postponed, Revised Dates to be Issued Soon

Attention aspirants, the School Education Department, Karnataka, has postponed the Karnataka Teachers Eligibility Test (Karnataka TET 2020), due to the increasing cases of Coronavirus pandemic. The news was confirmed by Karnataka Education Minister S. Suresh Kumar. The Karnataka board will now issue the new KARTET admit card for the new examination dates.
"The teacher eligibility test scheduled on April 11 has been deferred due to lockdown. The fresh date will be announced later," asserted S. Suresh Kumar in his tweet.
About the Exam: KARTET 2020
The Karnataka TET 2020 comprises of two papers Paper 1 and Paper 2. Paper 1 will be conducted from 9.30 am - 12 noon and Paper-II will be conducted from 2 pm - 4.30 pm.
The paper will consist of 150 MCQs, each carrying 1 mark. There will be no negative marking. The medium of question paper other than the languages shall be in English, Kannada, Hindi, Urdu, Tamil, Marathi and Telegu.
Aspirants who want to teach Classes I to V in Karnataka schools will appear for KARTET Paper I and candidates who want to teach classes VI to VIII will appear for KARTET Paper II. Those who want to teach all classes from Class I to VII will have to appear for both the papers.
