RUHS Bengaluru and VTU Belagavi postpone examinations

RUHS Bengaluru and VTU Belagavi have postponed their semester-end exams which were supposed to be conducted yesterday. Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS), Bengaluru and Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU) issued the information on its official portal. The examinations are postponed due to the law and order situation. The curfew has been inflicted in some parts of Karnataka.
Reasons for postponement:
The schools and colleges in Mangaluru have been closed and holidays are announced. The varsity in its announcement also added that the revised dates for the exams postponed yesterday will be declared soon.
RGUHS, The Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences in its notice said that the theory exams for medical and dental programs programmed to be conducted on December 20, 2019, have been postponed by the varsity administration in view of ongoing protest against the CAB and new dates for the examinations canceled today will be announced in due course of time on the University's official website.
Other universities which have declared postponement:
Most universities in Uttar Pradesh consisting Chaudhary Charan Singh University, Lucknow University and Allahabad University have also postponed their exams scheduled to be held yesterday.
