The SSC CHSL 2020 notice will be issued by Staff Selection Commission on December 3, 2019. Aspirants can check the official notification from the SSC official site-- ssc.nic.in. Interested applicants can apply for CHSL (Combined Higher Secondary Examination) on or before January 10, 2020.
According to the official calendar, the Commission will conduct the Tier I exam from March 16 to 27, 2020. Aspirants can check eligibility, opening details, selection procedure and other information below.
SSC CHSL 2019: Opening Details
- Openings will be determined in due course.
- The updated vacancy position will be uploaded on the portal of the Commission from time to time.
- Lower Division Clerk (LDC)/ Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA).
- Postal Assistant (PA)/ Sorting Assistant (SA)
- DEO, Data Entry Operator.
- Data Entry Operator, Grade A’.
SSC CHSL 2019: Educational Qualification
LDC/ JSA, PA/ SA, DEO (except DEOs in C&AG): Applicants must have passed Class 12th or equivalent exam from a recognized Board.
Data Entry Operator (DEO) in the Office of Comptroller and Auditor General of India (C&AG): Applicants ought to be 12th Standard pass in Science stream with Maths as a subject from a recognized Board.
SSC CHSL 2019: Age Limit
Competitors appearing for the examination should fall between 18 to 27. The permissible relaxation in the upper age limit for different sections is given in the notice.
SSC CHSL 2019: Selection procedure
The selection procedure of SSC CHSL 2019 contains Tier I, Tier II and Tier III levels. Applicants who will qualify the Tier I exam will have to appear for the Tier-II exam.
Normalized scores of the applicants will be used to determine merit and for final selection.
Contestants will be shortlisted for Tier-III Examination on the basis of their performance in Tier-I + Tier-II subject to having scored a minimum of 33 % marks in the Tier-II exam.
Tier-III exam is qualifying in nature. Competitors who want to apply for SSC CHSL 2019 will have to pay ₹100 as application charges.
