About CMAT
Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) is an online computer-based test conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA), India. It is a national-level admission test for facilitating institutions to select suitable students for admission in all management programmes approved by AICTE.
CMAT Eligibility
CMAT is a common admission test, for MBA/PGDM programmes which are courses of Post Graduate level. Thus, the minimum qualification to apply for CMAT is Graduation.

Minimum eligibility criteria for CMAT 2019 are given below:

The CMAT 2019 aspirant must have completed Graduation in any discipline or equivalent from a recognized university

The candidate must be a citizen of India, as this exam is only for Indian candidates

1.Age limit to appear for CMAT
There is no upper age limit to appear for CMAT.

2.How many attempts allowed
A candidate can attempt CMAT any number of times. Scores of the last CMAT exam attempted will be considered valid for admission.

3.Aadhar card and other documents required
Along with CMAT admit card, the candidate will be required to carry a photo ID issued by the Government of India. Each candidate must carry any of the following document to the exam hall:

Aadhar card
PAN card
Voter ID card
Drivers License
College/University ID card

4. Qualifying marks
There is no minimum qualifying marks for CMAT. Any candidate who has completed Graduation or is in the final year of Graduation can apply for CMAT exam. Although, there is no minimum cut off marks eligibility for appearing in CMAT, Bachelors degree marks play a vital role in college admission. Thus, future aspirants must aim to score at least 50% marks in aggregate in Graduation.

CMAT reservation criteria
CMAT does not fix reservation criteria for MBA admission. Institutes and colleges accepting CMAT normally follow the reservation criteria set by the Government of India for higher education. The candidates must check reservation criteria for each institute they are targeting.

In case of institutes run by Central Government, 15% of the seats are reserved for the category Scheduled Caste (SC), 7.5% for the category Scheduled Tribe (ST) and 27% for the category Other Backward Classes belonging to the “ Non Creamy layer” (OBC-NCL). Each category will have 5% reservations for Persons with Disabilities (PwD) as defined in The Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016 (RPwD Act 2016).
