Netflix announces 10 new original films for Indian audiences

Global streaming giant Netflix has announced 10 new original films for India with fresh content spanning across various subjects and genres. The streaming company has partnered with top directors and producers of Bollywood, comprising Karan Johar Dharma Productions, Shah Rukh Khan Red Chillies Entertainment and Ronnie Screwala RSVP, Hindustan Times reported.

The films are expected to release between April and December 2020. The films include Ghost Stories, a collection of short horror stories to be directed by Karan Johar, Dibakar Banerjee, Anurag Kashyap and Zoya Akhtar, the report said.

Farah Khan is producing a murder mystery called Mrs Serial Killer Another movie, Yeh Ballet will be directed by Sooni Taraporewala. The film is based on the story of two boys who discover ballet. Terrie Samundra will direct Kaali Khuhi, addressing the issue of female infanticide, the report said.
